Delray Beach, FL- May 10, 2023— The Ed Morse Automotive Group just held its 29th Ed Morse MDA Golf Classic and raised a record amount of over $436K for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. That brings the amount raised from this tournament in its 29-year history to over $3.9 million.
Interesting facts:
• This year’s record amount raised ($436,912) exceeded the previous record of $424,356 in 2022.
• In total, this tournament has raised $3,957,351 for the MDA in its 29 years.
• The tournament took sixteen years to raise the first $1 million. It took a total of twenty-three years to get over the $2 million mark. Now this tournament has raised over $1.8 million in the past six years.
• This year’s tournament was held on two stunning courses at PGA National.
• Following the golf was a cocktail reception, silent auction, lunch, mission drive, awards ceremony, and live auction.
